What is
worship?
It is a good question. Worship is the most important
thing that a human being can do. It is the center of
what it really means to be human. Worship is the most
important thing you and I will do this week.
It all begins Friday evening and lasts through breakfast
on the following Friday. Eight intensive sessions are
planned for the week. Each begins with great praise and
worship and ends with in-depth small group discussions.
If you sing, write poetry, dance or play an instrument,
come prepared to share your talents.
You'll gain new insights, understanding, maturity, and
an ability to meet the challenges of life hand-in-hand with
God–no matter where your Spiritual life currently stands.
This is your opportunity to understand the complex
relationships of life. It's your chance to learn how to deal
with your family (past and future), your friends, your dating
partners, your fellow Christians (and non-Christians),
and with God Himself. The unique format of this retreat
brings you closer to God and those you will meet here than
anything you've ever experienced. If you come from a big
family or a small family–one thing is for sure, you will leave
with a larger family.
This week will challenge you, bless you, and provide you
with the inward joy that comes from serving and glorifying God.
You will experience the phenomenon that happens every
year when strangers come together at the beginning of the
week and emerge unified in the body of Christ.
We would like you to be part of it.
